Residential Retreat: How to meditate on the Lam Rim

Residential Retreat: How to Meditate on the Lam Rim

with Ven Mary Reavey

Friday evening 15 October (from 18:00) until after lunch Sunday 17 October

at Fulneck School, Pudsey, Leeds LS28 8DS

This weekend residential retreat will focus on how to integrate into everyday life the meditations on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lam Rim).  These practical methods can help us to develop peace and happiness in the present moment.  You will be able to participate in periods of silence and in taking the one day 8 Mahayana precepts.  There will be opportunities for discussion in order to clarify and expand understanding.  Don’t miss this opportunity to learn valuable lifetime techniques or to deepen your existing practice in comfortable peaceful surroundings.  The retreat will be held in a boarding school 25 minutes by bus or taxi from Leeds City Train Station overlooking the picturesque Tong Valley.  For more information about the venue see www.fulneckschool.co.uk
