Saka Dawa Celebrations Come and join in our celebration of Saka Dawa to commemorate Buddha's birth, enlightenment and parinirvana. The merit from virtuous actions done on this day are said by Lama Zopa to be multiplied one hundred million times. We will begin with precepts at 07:30 followed by recitations of the Sanghata Sutra and other pujas and meditations. You are welcome to join us at any time throughout the day - morning, afternoon or evening. This is an opportunity for new and older students to get together to meditate and pray.
Please feel free to bring offerings of flowers or food to place on the altar. | ||
