Buddhist Teachings by Visiting Teachers
The benefit of pilgrimage - CANCELLED
A public teaching by Robin Bath
Saturday 26th April 10:00 to 16:30
The Buddha said that pilgrimage to holy places will help purify previously
accumulated negative karmas, even the five heinous actions. Robin Bath has
been on several pilgrimages to Ladak, South East Asia and more recently on
the pilgrimage with Geshe Tashi to the Buddhist sites of India. Robin will
explain the many benefits of pilgrimage drawing on his years of study,
bringing the discussion alive with slides of the colourful and holy places he
has seen.
Robin Bath, a professional photographer, was first inspired by Buddhism
after meeting Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche back in 1977. He has
been studying the Dharma ever since and is the longest serving student at
Jamyang London where he is a trustee.
The Above teaching has been cancelled
