Supporting the Centre and becoming a Friend

INVITATION TO BECOME A FRIEND OF JAMYANG BUDDHIST CENTRE LEEDS

We are very happy that anyone who comes to Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds can use the Centre, have access to authentic, quality teachings and use of the library facilities on the premises.  All Dharma teachings are free of charge but there is a suggested donation to cover running costs.  Nobody should feel that they are excluded from the teachings due to lack of funds. Those who support the centre spiritually are an essential part of the Dharma community.

It does, however, take more effort and money to run Jamyang Leeds than is often realised.  The contribution of time from volunteers and the money raised from class donations go some way to maintain the Centre but by no means cover all the costs of running it.

In order to fulfil the Centre’s mission it needs your support and you can do this by becoming a Friend.

A Friend is someone who:

  •  wishes to be part of a Dharma family and the Jamyang Leeds community
  •  wishes to have support for their Dharma practice and to give support to others
  • wishes to support a peaceful, positive place in the heart of the city where the Buddha's teachings can flourish
  • wishes to have use of a beautiful Gompa where they will receive inspiration, teachings and an opportunity to create merit
  • wishes to demonstrate their commitment in a practical way by giving a regular donation of money and/or time

Becoming a Friend of Jamyang:
